Moutain Stream watercolor by Joe Smith
My college watercolor painting class traveled to Smokey Mountain National Park to paint. I saw a small stream trickling over rocks and roots, merging with a slightly wider stream, sat down and started painting. I finished this in my student studio over the next week.
Seeing it hanging now in my home, it has a mystical value to it that surely a 20 year old can't have. I suppose that's the miracle of creative expression.
